In SFY21, Adult Redeploy Illinois supported its sites as they worked during a pandemic to provide safe alternatives to incarceration for people with behavioral health disorders. In SFY21, Adult Redeploy Illinois supported its sites as they worked during a pandemic to provide safe alternatives to incarceration for people with behavioral health disorders. ARI grants funded problem-solving courts and specialized probation programs. Below are highlights of our impact:
- $8.5 million in funding awarded to local jurisdictions
- 25 sites covering 43 counties
- 2,006 individuals supervised and served in their communities
- $36.4 million in state incarceration costs avoided
