ADULT REDEPLOY ILLINOIS INVESTS IN NETWORK WITH TRAINING, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, AND DEVELOPMENT FUNDING OPPORTUNITY

Help us continue to improve our Adult Redeploy Illinois (ARI) program!

text

This year, the ARI Oversight Board approved the release of a funding opportunity to locate one or more training, technical assistance, and development providers for the ARI network. The goal of this opportunity is to help ARI sites expand capacity and effectiveness in delivering evidence-informed supervision and services for justice-involved clients (in lieu of incarceration) by offering coaching and professional development opportunities.

ARI sites employ a variety of evidence-based practices including risk, needs, and strengths assessments; cognitive behavioral and trauma-informed therapy; substance use disorder and mental health treatment; and community reintegration efforts using restorative justice principles. Sites vary in their implementation of programming and services due to the program’s local control and design component, and ARI encourages innovative practices to meet client and community needs.

ARI is seeking to partner with public or private entities to develop a comprehensive, responsive, and effective training, technical assistance, and development program for the statewide ARI network. We anticipate releasing the upcoming funding opportunity before the end of the year.

To learn about this funding opportunity as soon as it is released, be sure to subscribe to CJ Dispatch, ICJIA’s public listserv providing announcements about current funding, cutting-edge research, policy, and hiring news.
