FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: Adult Redeploy Illinois Implementation Grants
Applications are now open for Adult Redeploy Illinois Implementation Grants Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) #2115-0626.
Adult Redeploy Illinois (ARI) supports local efforts to safely reduce prison use by building local systems that divert individuals from a prison sentence into more cost-effective programs that support their reintegration into the community.
An estimated total of $500,000 in funding is available for 2-3 local programs, for use over a period of nine months (October 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027).
Eligible applicants include county units of government or judicial circuits that have implemented ARI-funded diversion programs previously but do not have a current funding designation under ARI's earlier implementation grants NOFO # 2115-0326. Priority will be given to jurisdictions that have significant prison commitment rates of ARI-eligible individuals based on IDOC data for the prior three years (SFY 2023-SFY 2025).
Apply by 5:00 P.M. on July 27, 2026.
