The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is requesting proposals for grants Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Transitional Housing FFY21. Grants will be made with FFY24 or other available VOCA funds. A total of $2,830,905 in funding in VOCA is available through this solicitation for use over a period of 12 months.
ICJIA is looking for someone to join our Federal State and Grants Unit (FSGU) team to perform complex administrative duties including, but not limited to; providing information and assistance, records maintenance, and grants management system support. This person will also support the team by querying information systems for data, compiling and reporting data to management and/or government agencies, assisting in the planning and development of unit administrative procedures, and assisting in the development of programmatic materials. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Program Manager to work at the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority in the Federal and State Grants Unit (FSGU). FSGU offers a rich environment for a self-driven person with experience. The Program Manager responsibilities include managing a team of grant specialists, refining the grant administration process, writing and editing components of Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs), ensuring compliance with grant regulations, reviewing grant proposals, managing grant databases, and reviewing progress and financial reports.
The ideal candidate for this role should have superior organizational skills, and exceptional budgeting and monitoring skills. The Program Manager will reinforce relationships with grantees and will aid in serving the public by leading a team to ensure grantee success in effective and growing programs.
The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is issuing a funding opportunity for the reimbursement of expenses of procuring live scan fingerprinting equipment to improve the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of criminal history records submitted by Illinois justice system agencies. Grants will be made with FFY23 National Criminal History Improvement Program (NCHIP) funding. A total of $1,900,629 is available through this solicitation.
