Justice Assistance Grant Program Request for Input
ICJIA REQUESTS PUBLIC INPUT FOR PROMOTING SUCCESSFUL AND EFFECTIVE JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAMMING
The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA), the state administering agency for the federal Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG), is seeking public input on its federal fiscal year 2024 JAG application.

In its application for these funds, ICJIA will submit a program narrative that includes a five-year strategic plan to be approved by the Authority Board. The strategic plan will guide the use of JAG funds to address these priorities:
- Law enforcement programsProsecution and court programs
- Prevention and education programs
- Corrections and community corrections programs
- Drug treatment programs
- Planning, evaluation, and technology improvement programs
- Crime victim and witness programs (other than compensation)
