The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is requesting proposals for grants for ARI Implementation. Grants will be made with SFY24 funds. A total of $11,000,000 in funding in Adult Redeploy Illinois (ARI) is available through this solicitation for use over a period of 12 months.

Program requirements
The mission of Adult Redeploy Illinois (ARI) is to safely reduce prison use by building local systems that divert individuals from a prison sentence into more cost-effective programs that promote their reintegration into the community.
ARI provides funding and technical assistance to Illinois communities to establish a continuum of sanctions and treatment alternatives that effectively address social determinants of crime and incarceration, and that promote equity within the justice system.
Eligibility Information
Agencies must be registered through the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) Grantee Portal, https://grants.illinois.gov/portal/, to become eligible to apply for an award.
Applicants must be in GOOD standing with all GATA pre-qualification requirements prior to application due date. Approval of the Internal Control Questionnaire (ICQ) SFY24 is required before the execution of the grant agreement.
Eligible Applicants
This solicitation is open to county units of government or judicial circuits. A county may submit on behalf of a group of counties or a judicial circuit. Other units of local government, private agencies or not-for-profit organizations are not eligible to apply; however, the applicant jurisdiction may include subawards or subcontracts for services with these entities as part of the program design and budget.

Available Funds
Grants available through this funding opportunity are a portion of a SFY24 General Revenue Funds. A minimum of $11,000,000 dollars will be made available through this funding opportunity.
Period of Performance
Funding is available for the period of July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.

A live technical assistance session providing additional information regarding this funding opportunity will be held via WebEx at 11:00 a.m. (CST), April 10, 2023 (re-scheduled). A recording of the session will be available for viewing beginning at 5:00 P.M., April 11, 2023.

Reporting
Recipients must submit periodic financial reports, periodic performance reports, final financial and performance reports, and, a calendar year end financial report in accordance with the CFR Part 200 Uniform Requirements. Future awards and fund drawdowns may be withheld if reports are delinquent.
