Funding Opportunities
The Federal & State Grants Unit (FSGU) administers grant programs overseen by ICJIA. Authorized to receive and disburse grant money, ICJIA also is responsible for assuring compliance with federal and state regulations. ICJIA began administering federal grants in 1985, following the passage of the Justice Assistance Act and the Victims of Crime Act by Congress.

The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is requesting proposals for grants Illinois Family Violence Coordinating Council Implementation. Grants will be made with SFY26 funds. A total of $494,000 in funding in Illinois Family Violence Coordinating Council (IFVCC) Implementation is available through this solicitation for use over a period of 12 months.
