ICJIA is looking for a Research and Evaluation Associate with an interest in criminal justice and public policy. The ideal candidate will use skills to develop unique approaches to performance data analysis and visualization while working among a diverse team of fellow data scientists and social science researchers. The work will bring increased transparency and availability of program performance data to the public, specifically program data related to Firearm Protection Orders (FROs) in Illinois. The candidate will work with ICJIA grant staff, research staff, and program grantees to establish program performance measures and gauge performance. This position will also have the opportunity to work with policymakers, police leaders, practitioners, and communities to actively change how such data is utilized and visualized in the state.
