Independently conducts complex audits of federal and state grantees by assessing the effectiveness of controls and financial records accuracy. Conducts desk audit review of payment requests and related documentation. Participates in follow-up activities for assigned audits/reviews, prepares and submits preliminary and final reports. Reviews and approves grant budgets and provides technical assistance to both internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for financial oversight of grant-funded agencies. Conducts on-site financial reviews and desk audits of grantees. Reviews grant agreement budgets. Prepares quarterly reports on grantee audits and monitoring throughout the lifecycle of the grant.
