Memory Cafes in Kankakee County

A Memory Café is a social gathering, a safe and welcoming space, for individuals living with memory loss and their caregivers to connect, socialize, and build support networks - often through activities and shared experiences. A Memory Café is not designed to be respite care in the traditional sense. Instead, it’s a social space where individuals living with memory challenges, such as Alzheimer’s and dementia, and their caregivers can come together to connect, share experiences and enjoy meaningful activities. Our next Memory Café is this week, Thursday, May 29th from 2pm-3:30pm at Uplifted Care in Bourbonnais.
