Free Unite Against Domestic Violence

October 08, 2024

As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, today marks the Day of Unity – a time for communities to join forces, raise awareness, and take a stand against domestic violence. At Harbor House, we know that creating a safer world begins with each of us, and we’re asking for your support in this important mission.

What does signing the pledge mean?

• Taking a Stand: You publicly declare that your organization does not tolerate domestic violence in any form. • Spreading Awareness: Your organization will help to educate your members, clients, and broader community about the dynamics of domestic violence, including resources and ways to help. • Supporting Survivors: You’ll contribute to a more supportive environment for those affected by domestic violence, showing them they are not alone and that help is available. • Advocating for Change: You will join others in advocating for stronger protections for survivors and more resources for domestic violence prevention.

Thank You to Our Early Supporters

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the many organizations and community groups who have already signed the pledge. Your commitment is a powerful statement in the fight to end domestic violence, and we are grateful for your leadership.

If your organization hasn’t yet signed, there’s still time to make a difference. Join us in taking a stand and helping to create a safer, more supportive world for all.
