The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA) is offering $1.2 million in funding through the i2i Capacity Building for Violence Prevention Programs. This opportunity supports grassroots and community-based organizations in building internal capacity and implementing violence prevention services.

Applicants may apply for: - Capacity Building Projects to strengthen organizational infrastructure (e.g., governance, operations, resource generation).

• Violence Prevention Programs focused on community violence intervention, youth violence prevention, reentry services, or youth development.
• Or a combined proposal that includes both tracks.

The goal is to prepare smaller organizations for sustainability and effective service delivery in violence prevention.

Deadline

Completed application materials must be submitted via AmpliFund by 5:00 p.m., June 30, 2025, to be considered for funding. Proposals will not be accepted by email, mail, fax, or in-person. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Late submissions cannot be submitted and will not be reviewed.

A recorded technical assistance session will be available on May 20, 2025. Viewing is strongly recommended before submitting an application.

• Register with the System for Award Management (SAM), Obtain a Unique Entity ID #
• Complete registration in the Grantee GATA Portal
• Obtain Single Sign-On for application submission in AmpliFund
• Maintain “Good” standing with all GATA pre-qualification requirements.

The following process is required:

Step 1: Applying Organization must register in the Illinois Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) Grantee Portal: https://grants.illinois.gov/portal/.

Step 2: Applying Organizations must identify an individual(s) who will submit the application via AmpliFund, this person will serve as the Primary Contact for this application. However, more than one individual can have access to and complete components of the application via Version 9.2024 AmpliFund.

The Primary Contact must submit the applications, including attachments, via Amplifund. To submit an application, go to https://il.amplifund.com/Public/Opportunities/Details/13feacc9-1812-489f-9a99-900ad9e1ea7a.

Please Note: Organizations currently receiving an i2i Capacity Building grant are not eligible to apply for this funding opportunity.
