The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is requesting proposals for Comprehensive Law Enforcement Response to Violent Crime Category 1 Violent Crime Prosecution Program grants. Grants will be made with FFY21 Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds.
Available Funds
A total of $1,050,000 is available through this solicitation for use over a grant term of nine months.

Program Requirements
The goal of this solicitation is to increase public safety and reduce the large social and economic cost of violent crime through specialized prosecution.
This funding opportunity is open to applicants who demonstrate a comprehensive strategy toward violent crime and its contributing causes, include multijurisdictional collaborative efforts in their programs, are NIBRS-certified, and will incorporate services for victims.
Eligible Applicants
This solicitation is open to Illinois municipalities, counties, and state agencies.
Period of Performance
Funding is available for the period of January 1,2025, through September 30, 2025.

Technical assistance recordings providing additional information regarding this funding opportunity will be available for viewing beginning at 3:00 P.M. CDT, September 9, 2024.
