Albany Park/Irving Park Violence Prevention Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO# 3048-1222)

The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is requesting proposals for grants for the Albany Park/Irving Park – Violence Prevention NOFO. A grant will be made using SFY23 funds. A total of $180,000 in funding is available through this solicitation for use over a period of 3 months.

Program Requirements

This funding opportunity will provide grants to organizations serving Chicago’s Albany Park and Irving Park neighborhoods to fund funeral expenses of families that have experienced violence and to provide trauma-informed case management services to those families.

Eligibility Information

Agencies must be registered in the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) Grantee Portal, https://grants.illinois.gov/portal/, to become eligible to apply for an award. Applicants must be in good standing with all GATA pre-qualification requirements and received approval of the Internal Control Questionnaire (ICQ) SFY23 before the execution of the grant agreement.

Eligible Applicants

Eligible organizations are non-profit organizations located in Albany Park or Irving Park and serving both the Albany Park and Irving Park Neighborhoods of Chicago, Illinois.

Deadline

Completed application materials must be submitted in AmpliFund by 5:00 P.M., January 9, 2023, to be considered for funding. Proposals will not be accepted by email, mail, fax, or in-person. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Late submissions will not be reviewed.

Available Funds

Grants available through this funding opportunity are a portion of SFY23. A total of $180,000 dollars will be made available through this funding opportunity.

Period of Performance

Funding is available for the period of April 1, 2023, through June 30, 2023.

Technical Assistance Session

Technical assistance recordings providing additional information regarding this funding opportunity will be available for viewing beginning at 10:00 A.M., December 1, 2022.

Reporting

Recipients must submit periodic financial reports, periodic performance reports, final financial and performance reports, and a calendar year end financial report in accordance with the CFR Part 200 Uniform Requirements. Future awards and fund drawdowns may be withheld if reports are delinquent.
