Violence Against Women Act Sexual Assault Human Sex Trafficking Services
The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is requesting proposals for grants to improve services for and/or the response to victims of sexual assault in persons who also have experienced human sex trafficking.

Program Requirements
The Violence Against Woman ACT (VAWA) Sexual Assault Services for Human Sex Trafficking Program supports nonprofit organizations and rape crisis centers to improve services for and/or the response to victims of sexual assault who have also experienced human sex trafficking.
Eligibility Information
Agencies must be pre-qualified through the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) Grantee Portal, https://grants.illinois.gov/portal/, to become eligible to apply for an award. Applicants must have completed the GATA pre-qualification process and received approval of their Internal Control Questionnaire (ICQ) by the period of performance start date of October 1, 2020, to be considered for funding.
Eligible Applicants
Eligible applicants include rape crisis centers and other nonprofit, non-governmental organizations or tribal programs that provide services and related assistance to victims of sexual assault and their families.
Deadline
Completed application materials must be emailed to CJA.SASPNOFO2020@Illinois.gov by 11:59 p.m., July 10, 2020, to be considered for funding. Proposals will not be accepted by mail, fax, or in-person. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Late submissions will not be reviewed.
Available Funds
Grants will be made with FFY19 Violence Against Women Act Sexual Assault Services Program funds. A total of $535,000 in funding is available through this solicitation for use over a period of 36 months.
Period of Performance
Funding is available for the period of October 1, 2020, through September 30, 2021. Based on program performance and fund availability, ICJIA may recommend allocation of funding to support an additional 24 months of programming.
Notice of Intent
Agencies interested in applying are asked to submit an online Notice of Intent by 11:59 p.m., June 30, 2020.

Reporting
Recipients must submit periodic financial reports, periodic performance reports, final financial and performance reports, and, a calendar year end financial report in accordance with the CFR Part 200 Uniform Requirements. Future awards and fund drawdowns may be withheld if reports are delinquent.
