Trauma Recovery Centers
The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is requesting applications for state grants to establish and enhance trauma recovery centers.
Application deadline: 11:59 p.m. on December 12, 2019.
Program Requirements
This Notice of Funding Opportunity offers two categories:

Category 1: Establish New Trauma Recovery Center
-
Category 2: Enhance Existing Trauma Recovery Center.
Applicants must choose only one category. See NOFO for more information.
Eligibility Information
Agencies must be pre-qualified through the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) Grantee Portal (GATA) Grantee Portal to become eligible to apply for an award. Applicants must have completed the GATA pre-qualification process and received approval of their Internal Control Questionnaire (ICQ) by the period of performance start date, February 18, 2020 to be considered for funding.
Eligible Applicants
Eligible applicants are limited to
- Public Hospitals with a Level I or Level II trauma designation
- Non-profit entities.

Deadline
Completed application materials must be emailed to CJA.SFY20NEWTRCNOFO@Illinois.gov by 11:59 p.m., December 12, 2019, to be considered for funding. Proposals will not be accepted by mail, fax, or in-person. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Late submissions will not be reviewed.
Available Funds
A total of $2.2 million in state funding is available through this solicitation for use over a period of five months. Grants will be made with State Fiscal Year 2020 General Revenue funds.
Period of Performance
Funding is available for the period of February 18, 2020, through June 30, 2020. Based on program performance and fund availability, ICJIA may recommend designation of funding to support an additional 24 months.

Reporting
Recipients must submit periodic financial reports, periodic performance reports, final financial and performance reports, and, a calendar year end financial report in accordance with the CFR Part 200 Uniform Requirements. Future awards and fund drawdowns may be withheld if reports are delinquent.
