Notice of Funding Opportunity to Enhance and Expand Existing Street Intervention Programming
The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is requesting proposals for grants to Enhance and Expand Existing Street Intervention Programming. Grants will be made with SFY20 Violence Prevention and Street Intervention funds. A total of $1,894,653 in funding is available for services provided throughout the State of Illinois (with the exception of the City of Chicago) through this solicitation for use over a period of approximately 3.5 (three and a half) months.
Application deadline: 11:59 p.m., January 16, 2020.
Program Requirements
This Notice of Funding Opportunity intends to fund an expansion (additional participants) of an existing Street Intervention program and/or an enhancement (additional services) of an existing Street Intervention program. Applicants must have an existing, active Street Intervention program to be eligible for funding under this NOFO. See NOFO for more information.
Eligibility Information
Agencies must be pre-qualified through the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) Grantee Portal, https://grants.illinois.gov/portal/, to become eligible to apply for an award. Applicants must have completed the GATA pre-qualification process and received approval of their Internal Control Questionnaire (ICQ) by the period of performance start date, March 15, 2020, to be considered for funding.

- Non-profit entities.

Completed application materials must be emailed to CJA.StateViolencePrevention@Illinois.gov by 11:59 p.m., January 16, 2020, to be considered for funding. Proposals will not be accepted by mail, fax, or in-person. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Late submissions will not be reviewed.
Available Funds
Grants available through this funding opportunity are a portion of a SFY20 Violence Prevention and Street Intervention fund.
Period of Performance
Funding is available for the anticipated period of March 15, 2020 through June 30, 2020. Based on program performance and fund availability, the ICJIA may recommend funding to support an additional 24 months.

Technical assistance recordings providing additional information regarding this funding opportunity will be available for viewing beginning at 12:00 p.m. on December 17, 2019.

Reporting
Recipients must submit periodic financial reports, periodic performance reports, final financial and performance reports, and, a calendar year end financial report in accordance with the CFR Part 200 Uniform Requirements. Future awards and fund drawdowns may be withheld if reports are delinquent.
