Families and Reentry Unpacking How Social Support Matters
The Illinois prisoner reentry program, Safer Return, developed a family-inclusive case management model as the core of its suite of reentry services to formerly incarcerated individuals. This report explores whether family-inclusive case management--as implemented through Safer Return--led to better outcomes for formerly incarcerated persons and their family members.
