This Special Projects Administrator Director position oversees Special Programs such as Safe from the Start, IL Family Violence Coordinating Councils, and other assigned programs focusing on victim services and violence prevention; supervise a staff of Special Project Administrators and Criminal Justice Specialists. This position serves as Co-chair of IFVCC Steering Committee and provides periodic briefing of and consultation with Judicial co-chair; communicates pertinent information to Chief Judges throughout the state-prepares materials for distribution through Judicial co-chair. Provides annual briefing with Supreme Court Justice liaison to the conference of Judges. This position also serves as Project Director of State and Federal grants; chairs and staffs Advisory Committee/Subcommittees providing technical expertise and leadership to keep the committee and subcommittees on task as well as documenting progress and decisions, along with many other duties.
