This position oversees special programs such as National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS grant; Helping Everyone Access Linked Systems (Illinois HEALS) and other assigned programs. This position serves as a working supervisor of a team of Special Project Administrators. This role will provide programmatic oversight and strategic planning to administer federal and state appropriated grant funded programs; assists the Executive team and collaborates with the Federal and State Grants Unit on Notice of Funding Opportunity development and application review; provides technical assistance; facilitates grantee meetings, etc. This position is a Project Director of State and Federal grants; chairs and staffs an Advisory Committee/Subcommittees providing technical expertise and leadership.
