The ideal candidate will assist in the development of fiscal an administrative monitoring policies and procedures per 2 CFR 200 and the State of Illinois Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA); serves as working supervisor to staff performing all forms of financial oversight on behalf of the agency, ensures compliance with policies and procedures. Coordinates and conducts advanced level on-site reviews of community service providers’ fiscal and administrative records and procedures for compliance with contractual requirements; prepares reports, presents findings and recommendations, performs follow up functions, as needed. Assists in the timely execution of grant awards by coordinating and performing budget reviews consistent with the fiscal unit’s role. Provides technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders regarding budget review, financial oversight and overall fiscal policies and procedures.
