This Legislative Liaison position involves drafting agency policy relating to the education of legislative initiatives for the Agency, making recommendations relating to the strategy for passage of legislation and rules affecting agency policy, serving as a spokesperson for the Program Analyst Director regarding issues that have a significant impact on a specific course of action, performing liaison functions with members of the General Assembly and their staff, County and City officials and other organizations in the development and interpretation of Department policies and statutes as well as the general public. The role also entails working with administrative staff on research and studies regarding pending and revised legislation and its impact on the agency.
