Are you passionate about community-based violence intervention? ICJIA is looking to bring on board a dynamic leader to take on the role of the Institute to Innovate (i2i) Director. i2i focuses on grassroots organizations dedicated to changing the circumstances of violence in their communities. By providing essential support, i2i becomes a resource to ensure that their capacity is not merely sustained but elevated, guiding them on a path to sustainability. Resources Director and help forward the ICJIA mission. The i2i Director will, among other things, provide direct capacity-building support to community-based organizations that need to strengthen their organization’s infrastructure, establish, identify, and support processes to foster communication between law enforcement and community based street outreach and violence prevention organizations in immediate response to gun-related incidents of violence, and other agency priorities, and engage with community organizations, block clubs and associations, afterschool programs, leading CVI organizations, federal agencies, local governments, elected and appointment officials and others to explore potential funding opportunities.
